This review is for the new Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Compact SPF 15. Chanel describes the product as:
I really do like the finish of this foundation, it is dewy and allows the skins natural texture to shine through, similar to the liquid. The shade is a much better fit for me and I like the coverage of the compact better. I usually set this foundation with a powder, the Guerlain Meteorites but I find that my skin looks slightly dry so I when I wear this next I may try a good moisturizer first and not use a powder. Overall I do think this is a great foundation, Chanel have some lovely foundation choices, they are pricey but I do think they are worth it for shade selection and finish.
This water-based formula blends effortlessly and offers the lightness and radiance of a fluid with the ease and convenience of a compact format. The complexion is immediately hydrated and smoothed, with a look of natural, flawless radiance and a comfortable feel that lasts all day.

I purchased this foundation as I previously tried the Vitalumiere Aqua liquid but I wasn't completely happy with it. The shade I tried, B-20, was a bit too dark for me and even though I liked the finish I wasn't impressed with the coverage or staying power. When I read that Chanel was releasing a compact version of the foundation, which was supposed to have better coverage with the same finish I thought it may be a better fit for me. I have the shade B-10, the palest and it is an near perfect match for my skintone.

This product is not yet available in Australia, I purchased mine online from the U.S.
